Welcome to Edisto Island United Methodist Church (EIUMC), a vibrant beacon of faith among Edisto Island Churches.

 

Nestled in the picturesque surroundings of Edisto Island, our congregation offers a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our church boasts a storied past, originating from the dreams of Ernest Godwin and his wife, Veda, who envisioned a dedicated Methodist Church on the island. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of Reverend JR Jones and many devoted community members, this dream was transformed into reality...

For the third year in a row, a Salkehatchie Summer Service camp was held on Edisto Island. The 2025 camp took place July 5–12, bringing volunteers together to serve our community
